Our newest residence hall on campus, York, houses both male and female upperclassmen.
However, transitioning into the Fall 2008 semester, it will be both an upperclassmen and freshman
housing option.
York, completed in August 2007, is arranged in a apartment suites. Apartment suites are arranged in
two, three, and four bedroom units with one student to each bedroom. Inside the bedroom is a bed, a desk
with a chair, dresser, and a closet. Each window inside the suite has mini-blinds.
In each living room is furnished with a couch, a coffee table, a kitchen table with chairs, and a
linen closet. In the kitchen, there is a two-burner range top, built-in microwave, full-size refrigerator
with icemaker, sink with disposal, a lot of countertop space and more cabinets than you will ever need!
York has two elevators to access the 61 apartment suites, housing 210 students, over four stories.
Each floor has two lounges with plasma TV's, a trash chute, and a common lounge in the middle of the hall.
Like all other residence hall, York has free laundry, wireless internet and plenty of comfortable furniture.
