Medical Director - Dr. Danielle Mahaffey was awarded her Doctorate of Medicine by Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry with Magna Cum Laude honors from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. She completed her residency training in Family Practice at Moses Cone Health System and served a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Moses Cone Health System. Dr. Mahaffey is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. 







Rhys Wittenberg, Certified Nurse Practitioner - Rhys received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received her Master of Science degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.








Julie Swaim - A health care management professional, Julie Swaim has an extensive track record of coordinating exceptional patient care while efficiently balancing the needs of physicians, office staff and corporate administrators. As a Cornerstone Health Care office manager, she has actively participated in a wide range of corporate committees and classes helping to adopt and enhance management procedures relating to effective patient care. Ms. Swaim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University, and is a native of Thomasville, North Carolina.






Sytwesha Richardson - Sytwesha received her Medical Assisting training through Cedar's Medical Center in South Carolina. She is certified in bone density testing through York Technical Collage, and she received certification in phlebotomy from Professional Medical Services. Sytwesha takes pride in being a mother and she understands the need to provide a calm and caring demeanor for our students. 







Susan Disher, LPN, Clinical Coordinator - Susan earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree at Forsyth Technical Community College. She has extensive experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. As a mother, she understands the importance of compassionate and quality care for our students. Susan and her family reside in Thomasville, NC. 









Liz Huggins - Liz received her CMA certification through Brookstone College in Greensboro, NC.  As a mother, she understands the importance of dedication and caring for our students.












 
Lauren Dowlin, CMA - Lauren received her associates degree through ECPI University. She is certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants. Lauren is also certified as a Phlebotomy Technician through the National Healthcare Association.












 
Maida Martin, Physician Assistant, Certified - Maida graduated Summa Cum Laude from High Point University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences. She graduated with Honors from the Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She is certified by the National Commision for the Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
